Description
Bigger reptiles deserve a roomy place to retreat, and the Zoo Med Repti Shelter 3in1 Cave delivers it in this large 12 inch black version. Built for larger species, it gives your pet a generous hideaway that works three ways in a single piece. Your reptile gets a private den, a humid micro-climate, and a nesting spot all rolled into one. It is the kind of multipurpose accessory that quietly handles several daily needs at once, so you are not crowding a bigger enclosure with three separate pieces of gear just to cover the basics.
What makes this large cave a habitat staple:
Serves as a 3 in 1 cave, ready for hiding, shedding, or egg laying, so one accessory handles three jobs at once.
Fill it with Terrarium Moss or Eco Earth to build a humid micro-climate that supports a smoother shed.
The large 12 inch size suits bigger reptiles that need more room to stretch out and tuck themselves in.
Gives nervous or resting reptiles a dark, secure place to withdraw from the open enclosure when they want quiet.
Provides a sheltered egg laying spot, letting females nest away from the rest of the habitat in privacy.
Made from durable resin construction, so it holds up under the weight and activity of larger animals.
Washes and sterilizes easily, keeping cleanup between sheds and clutches simple and quick for you.
The removable lid lets you peek in on your animal without tearing down the whole setup.
That lid also lifts off so you can reach in and remove eggs when needed.
Finished in black to sit naturally within a planted or rocky terrarium rather than stand out.
From a snug shedding session to a quiet nesting retreat, this large cave gives your reptile the privacy and humidity it looks for by instinct, all in one easy to clean piece. Zoo Med makes the Repti Shelter in three sizes to accommodate many popular reptile species, and this 12 inch model is the pick for your larger residents who simply need more space to settle in. Drop one into the enclosure and watch your pet claim its new favorite hideaway in no time at all.
