The Safari Wood Shedding Comb is a comb for longhaired dogs with a contoured wooden handle, long teeth and short teeth.
Quick facts
Species: Dog
Material: Wood, with a contoured wooden handle
Form: Comb with long and short teeth
Why owners like it
Safari says the smooth, rounded teeth are gentle to your dog’s skin.
The long teeth penetrate deep into the undercoat.
The short teeth collect loose hair.
Begin combing from the head and work toward the tail and down the legs. Be sure to comb behind the ears, at the base of the tail, under the legs, at the nape of the neck and on the abdomen. Those areas can easily mat on dogs with undercoats.
Safari offers this comb for shorthaired dogs and longhaired dogs, and this one is the Long Hair version.
