Meet Cash, the inspiring winner of Breyer’s Essay Contest. Once a beloved lesson horse, Cash helped countless children take their first steps in the saddle. Upon retirement, he found a new beginning with Andrew Marigold of Ohio, whose winning essay shared how their bond reignited a childhood love of horses and sparked a shared passion for ranch roping. A touching tribute to the special ways horses impact our lives—one ride at a time.
