The Steel Cowboy Bit, featuring a square twisted port with a roller, is an excellent choice for a stronger, older, and more seasoned horse that needs to be softened off the bridle. The high port applies pressure to the horse’s palate, promoting collection and softness at the poll. Sweet iron mouthpiece promotes salivation for a supple and comfortable fit. This material is designed to rust naturally and imparts a sweet taste to the horse. Additionally, the square twist provides the bit with extra bite, offering improved rate and control. With a 7 1/2” shank, this bit gives the rider sufficient leverage for control during tuning, riding, and roping.
