Used when tying your horse, first attach the Equi-Ping to the metal ring on your stable wall or horse trailer. Then tie your horse’s lead rope to the Equi-Ping.
If your horse spooks or panics and pulls back, the Equi-Ping is designed to “ping” open when approx. 176 lbs. of force has been reached to help avoid injury to the horse.
Great for cross ties too!

Totally reUSble! Once opened, the Equi-Ping can simply be re-attached to the metal ring and the mechanism pushed back together for re-use. Effective between 20-25 times before it needs to be replaced in most circumstances. Features a security sleeve that slides over the mechanism, with 2 small bump stops to hold the sleeve in place.NOTE: When using the Equi-Ping for the first time we suggest you push only 2 of the arrowheads into the mechanism and slide the sleeve over. You can always adjust it to have 3/4 of the arrowheads pushed into place if you need more tension before it pings.
