The short shank design provides quicker engagement and a softer, more forgiving level of leverage, making it a great option for horses transitioning into a curb bit or for finished horses that respond well to lighter cues. Rein rings allow for effective signal transfer, while the detailed silver floral engraved overlay adds a classic western look.
