The Sherry Cervi Short Shank Chain Bit is a go-to for starting young barrel horses or riding those with sensitive mouths. It’s gentle but effective, with a slight gag effect that gives just a little extra control without being harsh. The 6” shank helps encourage proper bend, flexion, and Lift through turns, making it easier to teach correct nose control and rate. Many horses respond well to the chain, and the sweet iron encourages salivation and acceptance, helping them stay soft and responsive. BBITFSSG30SI
