Why owners like it
Kordon says AmQuel Plus safely detoxifies natural nitrogen compounds in the water, including all forms of ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and toxic pheromones.
The brand notes that toxic nitrogen compounds can appear in aquarium and pond water over time, and says AmQuel Plus detoxifies them.
The payoff, according to Kordon, is that water changes become less necessary and fish and aquatic life get a safer environment.
The brand adds that AmQuel Plus remains totally nontoxic to aquatic life.
Kordon says AmQuel Plus should be used for setting up aquariums, for water changes, and in overcrowded aquariums. That gives you a clear idea of when to reach for it.
