Sometimes the carbon dioxide that accumulates in the air in closed buildings causes the pH of an aquarium to be low. We have the solution: it’s called CDX, a carbon dioxide adsorption system. Simply install CDX in our PhosBan reactor and connect it to the air intake of a protein skimmer, using a length of hose and our CDX adaptor to make the connection. CO2 depleted air is blown into the protein skimmer which then draws the CO2 from the tank
Available in two sizes – 750 mL jar will last about 6-8 weeks in the average 50 – 100 gallon reef aquarium. CDX Media is exhausted when it changes from white to pink.
