Description
Give your fish a quiet corner to call their own with the Zoo Med Aqualog Fish Shelter in Brown, Jumbo size. This sinking shelter settles to the bottom of the tank and creates a naturalistic hiding place your fish can duck into whenever they want a little privacy. It is a simple, natural-looking addition that helps your underwater world feel more like home for the creatures swimming in it.
Why aquarium keepers reach for this shelter:
The sinking design rests on the substrate, so it stays put and gives your fish a dependable retreat day and night.
Zoo Med says the shelter provides security to fish and can help reduce stress, which is reassuring for shy or newly added tankmates.
The naturalistic log shape blends into a planted or aquascaped layout instead of looking like an obvious plastic ornament.
Made from natural resin, so it is built for life submerged in your aquarium.
Zoo Med describes the material as environmentally friendly, a nice touch for owners who care about what goes in the water.
The Jumbo size suits larger fish or bigger tanks that need a roomier hideaway.
A defined hiding spot gives timid fish somewhere to settle, which can make them feel more secure in the open water.
The brown tone keeps the look earthy and understated against gravel, sand, or live plants.
Works as a standout centerpiece or as part of a layered hardscape with rocks and driftwood.
An easy way to add cover to a community tank where fish appreciate having their own space.
A shelter is one of those small touches that can make a big difference in how comfortable your fish feel. Drop the Zoo Med Aqualog Fish Shelter into the tank, watch your fish discover their new hideaway, and enjoy a setup that looks natural while giving your aquatic family a cozy place to retreat.
